You will find some downfalls to the school, but I think you will find that at any school you attend. Northland is not the school for everyone though. You definitely have to be willing to actively participate in small classes and be able to find ways to keep busy throughout the school year(Ashland is really not that big, but there are a lot of great things to do-especially outdoors. The Outdoor Education Dept. is wonderful and a lot of great learning experiences. I have gotten to know quite a few of the professors over the last three years and they care a lot about their students. You may have heard about all the changes that are going to occur at Northland in the the next few years, but they are for the best and the professors and the others who are in charge of the restucturing know what they are doing and have great ideas on how to make your learning experiences even better. |
