I have been out of college for several years now and look back at my time at MSU and other than my close knit group of friends and the athletic teams I participated on I would never want to go back there. I have not stepped foot on campus since graduation and have no desire too. The campus is located in a nice area and good location, but the buildings themselves are falling apart. There are new buildings that have gone up and new dorms, but all in all this is not the most aesthic campus. I did like my major (PE) and think the PE program is generally good, but I have other friends who also were in PE programs at other schools in NJ as well as outside of NJ and they had a much more comprehensive work load. I did love my proffessors but there was a revolving door of them through out my 5 years there. I did play sports at MSU and that is probably the only reason I stayed at MSU, transfering as an athelte sometimes makes it not worth the transfer. As a teacher and coach now I would not reccomend anyone to come to this school, its a big high school with not the most well-spoken, intelligent, and well rounded people. All in all I would reccomend TCNJ as the loacl NJ college to go to otherwise get out of NJ and experience a diffrent lifestyle/education style than what NJ/MSU has to offer. |
