things you should know: pepperdine is, indeed, a christian university. this is not a lie, so don't be surprised. and yes, you might be told you're going to hell by close-minded freshman religion major because you're not church of christ. pepperdine is a dry (no alcohol) campus. and no co-ed rooms from 1am-10am in the morning. yeah, convo is required. also, pretty much everyone studies - a lot - except for communications and spanish majors.

those are things that i here people are surprised by, and complain about every year. if you really want to party, just say no to pepperdine. also, if you're pre-med - don't get sucked into a bio major, be sports med or art history - it'll be easier. however, if you really can't resist our beautiful campus, everyone finds the group that they belong and are comfortable in. you make the experience what you want it to be. i love it here. my plan is to return as a prof… and i will.
