143.44.76.204:invalid:Malicious Intent/Faked, :Survey is mostly a complaint about college drinking. Stats incorrect fakes about rape and assualt incidents. Most likely a faked account in retaliation

I stayed at Lawrence University for just one trimester before I was absolutely disgusted with it. Where do I begin? Lets start with the important stuff. The teachers are more boring than watching grass grow… And I'm not talking just one or two teachers… ALL OF THEM. I'd rather repeatedly bang my head against a wall than listen to five minutes of lecture. Luckily, in many classrooms there are computers for me and other equally bored students to waste time on. The teachers never notice anyway, they're too busy reading in a monotone voice from some text book. Also, due to the constraint of student understanding, the teachers are forced to go at a much slower pace than a tier 1 school would otherwise demand.

While my college education didn't start until I transferred away from Lawrence University, my drinking education sure did. On my visiting day I pounded back over a dozen beers, blacked out, and eventually threw up for my very first time.

The college's drinking problems start with the obvious problems of any drinking campus like never getting your work done, never being able to sleep, and having 3/4 of students either miss class or arrive at class late and hung over. Then you mix these attributes with more serious effects that other party schools don't have very often. I'm talking stuff like regular incidents of alcohol poisoning, assaults, and rapes. Keep in mind, fraternities can't drink in their own frat houses due to school policy. Of course this won't stop them from drinking… Especially since security is lax, they just stumble the campus looking to cause trouble for others.

Parents, you need to make a decision of whether you want to give your child a beer allowance or let him/her be a loser. Without 5+ drinks in them, most of the students end up being as boring as the teachers. After a few drinks even the biggest dweeb can become one of the coolest kids in school. It's pretty simple and clear-cut, but it really doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
