But that is what it is, no more. Of course everyone is looking to move on—that's the point. It's a transition mechanism. It's excellent for that purpose. The teachers are way above what you might expect from a community college, probably because of the area-it draws on highly educated local talent. I have yet to have a truly bad teacher, but I know they are out there. Do your research on that before registering for classes. It will make all the difference in your experience here. The resources for helping students to plan their transfers in excellent—it's all there for the taking. It's affordable, too. Great place to start out if you didn't do well in high school for whatever reason, or if you are financially compromised. Why waste two years at an expensive private college if you're not ready or can't afford it? This place will prepare you for when you are ready and you'll have saved a lot of money in the meantime. Recommended highly for what it is. |
