Right off the bat I was faced with professors and administrators who had no idea what was going on. They did not know the qualifications or courses needed for my program - it was honestly like no one had ever done it before. Throughout my 4 semesters here, my program requirements have changed multiple times. The department is completely unorganized. Example: I am signed up for a summer course and a mtg. was announced 10 days in advance. I had already made plans to be out of town on that day (I did not have class) and was told if I did not attend the meeting, I would be dropped from the course. Comparing this school to where I got my bachelor's degree, Cal is a joke (I should keep this specifically to the education department). I would have dropped out from this program already if there was another school close enough for me to commute. Avoid the post-bacc. program at all costs. |
