If you make the claim to be open-mindedyet impose your political, social and philosophical world-views on the rest of the School, then BC probably isn't the right School for you. Despite the BC's reputation for it's Conservatism, there's a running inside joke within the Faculty that BC is actually an acronymn for "Barely Catholic" due to the large number of Liberal Professors who teach there. BC embodies everything of what many Students envisage as the ideal School. It has arguably the most Beautiful Campus in the Best College Town in America. It competes with much success in Division 1 Sports despite the high Academic Standards the Student Atheletes must adhere to. The Academics are intense, challenging and very interesting. It boast a solid reputation in the Business World, in particular Wall Street (Buy Side and Sell Side). Yes, it's very Preppy but in a good way. :) |
