The professors were helpful and approachable and I met quality friends with relatively the same morals and values. However, my physical science courses and some upper-level life sceince courses were a joke. They were the same level of difficulty found at a community college (I know- I now teach there). The lack of scientific equipment exposure posed some challenges at graduate school, especially when conducting data analysis. That lack of rigor in-field made me have some "catching up" to do at graduate school. I would have appreciate career services and job fairs that attracted community businesses, rather than merely christian ministries. Had I of had it to do over again and merely focusing on academics, I would have chosen a public university for my education. However, I did make lasting friends there at college and had a lot of "innocent" fun! |
