I learned the value of study later when I went to grad school at NU. Coop makes it special but NU is not for everyone. If you want a large cheering student body at sports events this place is not for you. This is a pragmatic and rewarding place for those who desire to be self reliant.NU students are a busy lot with much to do.They are not in a protected shell at NU. The student exists, after the frosh year ,with one foot in the real world and the other on campus but the real world pulls harder. The 5 years goes by with alacrity.It is not Disney more like a battlefield simulation.Only grownups survive, children leave or flunk out and they do flunk out. |
