Midwesterners typically are. However, I hate this school for many reasons. Everyone acts the same. It has got to be the most boring student body I've ever come in contact with. No one seems to think outside of the box, and those that did left after my first semester. I did make some friends, and yes again people here are nice, but so freakin' provincial it's sick. The classes themselves are hit and miss. Some G.E.'s have the personality that their class is the only one your taking when you are forced to take it. That bugged me, but I'm sure that's not uncommon at other places. Just watch out who you take to complete your requirements. Omaha isn't a bad place, but people who think it's the be-all, end-all of cities annoy the hell out of me. It's not that great. It's an average medium sized city. Then again, I'm originally from Chicago, so my standards for a city are a bit higher. So taking this all into account, I would say Creighton is for you if you want to go somewhere that has a small town, friendly feel. Creighton and Omaha both feel that way. It's not the most exciting of places and it gets pretty old and boring quickly. But it's a safe, consistent place. However, I myself want something a little different. Next year I'm transferring to University of Central Florida. If I'm going to live in the "Big O", it's going to be Orlando. |
