I have been at FMU for over three years and I am planning to graduate with 4.0. When I came here three years ago, I liked this place so much. I met many people from different states and countries. Now, there are only few students from other states and much less from other countries. They all transfered to other schools. As I look around, however, I see FMU continues to lie to everyone about its reality. Here is what I found on this site:

Francis Marion University has over 4,000 students from 26 states and 16 countries—1) This is a big LIE. FMU has only about 3000 students. 2)Today there are only couple international students whom I met few months ago and may have transfered already. They were very unhappy with FMU. 3) There are only few students from other states. These are usually athletes who can't make it anywhere else and they are on full scholarship at fmu. I know them, they are good people but they resent the way they are treated at fmu. . . The moral of th story: if you have a choice, avoid FMU . . . This school is going down to hell and you don't want to be part of it.
