The school is too poor to afford anything good, thus the facilities are in general sub-par. Students here are generally not so bright, with the exception of top 10% students. This explains the sub-standard academic experience. Also, because this school is so poor, it heavily relies on tuition for its income, resulting in sky-high tuition and over-enrollment, as well as chronic nickel-and-diming of its students. Social scene is mediocre as well because it is a dry campus and the school does not help with off-campus housing. Greek organizations have no on-campus housing and the school loves to bust students for very small violations. Food is mediocre and the dining hall is way to small for the size of the school. There are virtually no on-campus options besides McD's and Subway outside school meal plan. Dorms are okay but they will charge you absurd amount for the smallest damage to the building. And if something is broke in commons area, it takes months for the school to fix it.This school has so many issues that are not readily apparents on paper, you really need to go here to feel all these super-annoying, awful experiences. But then again, save yourself some pain and go elsewhere. I'm transferring to a much better school. Thank god. |
