Statistical Analyzer:

like all colleges, there are a lot of positive and negatives at quinnipiac. To start, quinnipiac has grown too fast for its own good and has horrible housing and parking situations. The price of the university also is far too high, (although one could argue that a person knows this going in.)

The majority of the teachers are great and most students are friendly. The facilities are pretty good except during exam times when you almost have to have a "squatters rights" mentality to get a seat or computer in the library and in other areas. THe campus gorgeous and Sleeping Giant state park is right across the street. New haven is also only 10 minutes south. only 1.5 hrs from new york and a little over 2 hrs from Boston so its also centrally located.

The social scene is pretty good, as someone is always willing to do something. I never figured out why some people bash the social life at qu at at all schools. its what you make out of it yourself. some people complain and complain but they are the same people who go home every weekend so they really never give it a shot either.

Although i enjoyed quinnipiac and believed i got a pretty good education I wouldnt choose to attend if i had it all over again. If you are communications or health science defintely try to attend because the schhol excels in those subjects. But for 42,000$ I never was able to take a lot of subjectst that interested me in history and gov't because they dont offer a wide variety.
