My understanding is this is not a lack on the side of the school or location, but on the part of those who fail to actively seek things to do. I am not an IV party-goer, nor do I go downtown, as is the "popular" thing to do. But I would never describe my time here as boring. Just as with any campus one goes to, it really is about what you make of it. We're in an amazing location that has beach, mountains, forests, city, LA, etc. all available to you. I did Hall Council stuff, I was an RA for a couple of years, I was on the campus' improv comedy troupe, I got involved in my church as the youth pastor… I had tons to do and as I'm graduating here in less than 3 weeks, I am only finding more and more to do (and realizing all that which I didn't get around to doing). |
