I would advise that all students find a niche for themselves whether it is Greek, club, or concentration oriented. Overall, I have to say my educational experience was excellent and I met professors at W&M who took a real interest in my educational and personal goals. The student body can be found lacking though, especially in diversity. Though it has the reputation as one of the most liberal schools in VA, I found it to be more right of center. As an out of state student, I found that some in-state students had a sense of entitlement that wasn't always deserved. However, I suppose this would be an problem at any well renowned school. |
