I had a decent experience at Arcadia, but decided to transfer after my first year. Let me break it down and give you what, in my opinion, are the best and worst things about the school:

PROS:

1. Beautiful campus. The campus is absolutely gorgeous. It is small, and the buildings surround a soccer field which, in the spring, is a very popular place. People spread out on blankets on the field all the time, to read, do homework, play frisbee, or hang with their friends. Plus, there is a huge 1800s castle on campus, which is breathtaking. Freshman can even room there!

2. Approachable faculty and students. Everyone I met seemed friendly and approachable. My teachers were always willing to help, and everyone I met was nice and open minded. The campus is liberal, for the most part.

3. Small classes. The classes are very small. In all of my classes I had about 12-15 students in them. It's great for group work, one on one time with professors, and debates.

4. Study abroad. Amazing program.

CONS:

1. NO campus life. This campus is BORING! Pray that you make friends with a lively group, because this campus is extremely dull. There are clubs, but not as many as I would have liked, and there is hardly ever anything to do on campus. However, if you make friends with the right people, it's a short train ride to Philadelphia.

2. Hard to make friends. If you are a second semester transfer, like I was, make sure you involve yourself in a lot of clubs. Even though people are friendly and approachable, they aren't quick to make you their friend. Make sure to involve yourself.

3. Education quality. I loved my teachers, but I felt like the work was insanely easy. I got a 4.0, and I don't feel like I worked hard enough to get one.

4. Small campus. This can also be a pro, but it was a con for me because you see the same people all the time, and it gets boring and routine.

Overall, my experience was OK. If you go, good luck. Make sure to join a lot of clubs. The biggest problem with this campus is that you will die of boredom if you don't make fun friends. I decided to transfer to a bigger school that suits me.
