I felt like I could take almost any class I wanted to (within reason) each semester. You don't have to be married to your major. You can be involved with dance every semester and be a biology major. You can (as I did) complete your major in a couple of semesters, and then take whatever you want. Double-majoring is popular nowadays, but I think it's a good idea to take Wesleyan up on the fact that it has tossed out its strict graduation requirements. You can basically take only courses that interest you and graduate within many majors at Wesleyan. The faculty generally are accessible and almost all students are friendly and approachable. I have a lot more to say, but… if you check out www.collegeotr.com/wesleyan you can read more in my blog about Wesleyan life. |
