Creighton really is a unique place. As with any small(er), religious based school there are pro's and con's. I believe that Creighton's biggest negative is being in Omaha. I am from Florida and hated Omaha for a couple of years, but then it really grows on you. A lot of people who go to Creighton are "legacies" and yes, there can be some majors jerks, snobs, brats, etc, - you're going to find that any where! I met some of the greatest people i know at Creighton, it depends on who you want to hang out with! Creighton changed my life. Beyond all of the negative reviews people have put on this site (we don't want them here anyways!) you're going to get out of Creighton exactly what you put in. If you want to take full advantage of teachers, clubs, service trips, student programs, etc. you can easily do so. If you like to skate by w/o doing much, you can do that too. The short and sweet of it is this: Creighton University is about taking care of the whole person. You will not only get an excellent education that is challenging and stimulating, but you will also be challenged to be a better person. If you appreciate being a name instead of a number, i would highly suggest checking out Creighton.
