While I was in school I thought that Pillsbury was attempting to 'get by' with everything. Programs and productions seemed to be 'half baked.' The dorms were kept in working order, but they were aesthetically boring. I really felt like the professors were doing a great job in the classroom, but because things all around were done with an obvious budget constraint I felt like my education was 'half baked' too.

Carrying these attitudes to graduate school I found myself being completely turned around. My education at Pillsbury fully prepared me for graduate school. Entering graduate school, I felt like I would be behind my classmates, but I found myself to be ahead in nearly every subject. I attribute the success to the smaller class sizes at Pillsbury, and the professors' expertises. Pillsbury does a great job teaching paper writing and giving students opportunities to practice the art of clear communication.

Besides being well prepared academically, the Bible Major at Pillsbury offers every student the opportunity to see what God would have them to do in life. Success in life can be based on salary, but knowing God and obeying Him as Abraham, Moses, and Paul did ought to be our life's goal.

Pillsbury offers a great education, and I think that they have addressed the problems that I faced while I was a student. I attended some of their events this past year, and Old Main has had a wonderful face lift, and the whole campus looks great. They have added a very nice student center and coffee shop to Clearwater's Hall. Also, the plays and recitals were very well done.

After graduation I didn't really know what to think about Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, but now I thank God that I was a part of such a great place. I hope they are going strong when my children are ready for college. I will certainly send my kids to Pillsbury.
