The education I received at Vermont Tech was great, and I suppose that is what matters, but the experience itself was not great. The administration was terrible to deal with, it was very difficult (from the beginning) to get a hold of anyone in admissions or financial aid for questions. I left messages on many occasions, and they were never returned. When I did get to speak with someone, they were almost ALWAYS rude and didn't know how to help me. I can remember only one good experience with someone over the phone out of several. The instructors I had were unprofessional in my opinion, teaching based on their personal opinions and not based on fact and information. Nursing students are expected to buy all their own uniforms and mandatory equipment (very very costly) even though the tuition is thousands and thousands of dollars a year. They are also expected to use their personal vehicles to drive to different clinical locations, with no fuel reimbursement. I am unsure what all that tuition money is used for. I could go on and on, but to sum it up, WAY not worth the cost.
