The result is you can't hang around anyone of the opposite sex period EXCEPT those MBI WANTS you to be with and FORCES you to hang around. If you see someone of the opposite sex not in your BRO-SIS floor that you like—you can't even talk to him/her without it being a BIG DEAL from the start and everyone knowing you cross the lines of BRO-SIS bs.Like I said before, there are strict rules and social norms preventing socialization with the opposite sex.At most colleges, you can socialize with WHOEVER YOU WANT, WEHEVER you want. This prepares you for the real world and gives you much needed experience with the opposite sex.While I was at MBI, I even wondered if I would become GAY from lack of contact to the opposite sex and the north side boystown is a great place for that… |
