It's very outdoorsy, the classes are interesting, and the work is applicable. Some programs give you more work than you need, but it's always survivable. Don't listen to anyone who is closedminded, and tells you that this University is only full of Cowboys, pickup trucks, tobacco, and bad music, because it's not like that at all. While we do have a great Rodeo program, and some of these aforementioned things are present, they're not overbearing in the least, or more present than any other sort of activity, culture, etc. Great activities, a wonderful exercise facility. The surrounding city isn't the most exciting place, and concerts aren't common, but if you like the outdoors, and you're okay with going a little further outside of the college, you'll find endless possibilities for things to do. The students and people are smart, friendly, and helpful, unlike most of the out of state students (cough, Californians, cough) who are ruining the University, Town, and State. It's a small town, and you always feel safe. |
