Academically I did well in high school and in college, while I work a lot more I'm still doing well and on average manage to go out 4 times a week. While Lehigh is not diverse you aren't going to be rejected because your not white. I'm not white and have joined a sorority, have many friends and have never felt excluded because of my race. However, if your only willing to socialize with members of your own race and are not white THEN you might have a bit of a problemIts true that fraternities dominate the social scene but there are other options. Also no one will pressure you to drink. Most will probably be oblivious to the fact that you arent drinking unless your being awkward. While most Lehigh students are incredibly smart many separate school and fun. The girl that you see drunk night after night dancing on a table could very well be an engineer on the deans list. Lehigh is not a place where social interactions are focused on academics. People want to let loose and have a good time. |
