The two years I spent at Malone College were my two worst years in the higher ed. universe. The students were extremely unfriendly and not overly bright, professors were teaching courses so far out of their areas of expertise the instruction was pretty marginal, buildings were dilapidated, and the library was pathetic. Also, the atmosphere was stifling and not very conducive to any sort of intellectual inquiry or critical thinking. I went to a community college for my first two years of undergrad; while this was hardly an Ivy League school, it was vastly better than Malone. Students at MC spend a lot of time praying; however, the real preying is how the administration preys on prospective students and parents of prospective students. This school is an overpriced joke. |
