I think that Binghamton was great for character building. It was nice and sunny the first week that you went back as well as the last week you left for the summer; in between the raindrops and the dreary setting, you really found out who you were and what you were about. I made life long friendships there and I can't believe that the people who I used to go sneaking cases of beer into the dorms with, are now happily married with kids. When you first get there its hard to find your way around campus, and being around so many people in you exact same point in life is encouraging and exciting. This latter point is one of the things I will miss most about Binghamton and college; its kind of the last time that we are all on the same page. The classes were somewhat challenging and a few stick out in my mind, but for me Binghamton more of a learning experience as a person. Can I go out every night and still do well in class? Do I want to build myself up intellectually or physically? Do I have enough time to do all these diametrically opposed things? When I think about the fact that I was able to say yes to all these questions all at once, it puts a grin on my face. That's college I guess; freedom that you will spend the rest of your life reminiscing about.
