Many of my friends attended larger schools. I found that when we graduated, I was much more prepared in the fields we studied due to smaller classes, more one on one time with the professors, not TAs, and that I had more access to labs and extracurricular learning. I have also found over the years that most small campuses have the same demographic of people attending that larger campuses do, but that on a small campus, you have more of an opportunity get to know and befriend all the students, giving you a grater perspective of varying points of view and diversity. |
