Make no bones about it, Tucson is a city with a lesser element like all big cities, with some serious property crime issues, but if you know how to take care of yourself and your property you will have an awesome time. Tucson has no "Mill Ave", but quality human beings worth meeting aren't going to be found at bars anyway. The house party scene is where it's at, and it's second to none. The student body is the best looking I have ever seen, overall better than ASU and on par with the likes of U of Texas. Virtually all of the programs at Arizona are of high repute. The space program gets God only knows how much money and the Business school is very highly accredited. The only thing I don't know about is the liberal arts program, and, well, if you're going to college to learn how to dance then good luck in the real world- you'll need it. |
