It s more neutral because it s my first semester so so far my first week. what i can say about the school so far is yes there is lot of white people. I am black, and when i walk on the hallway they look at me like " we have black student here"? , so i guess i just need to get used to the look. The teachers are great and tells you that they are always available if you need their assistance. SO far, i only ate twice from their OUTTAKE store and the food was good, a little bit expensive, but what can i do? what i do not like is the fact that they charge us to print our homwork, it does not make any sence , so you need your SHU card or at the library they only take cash or CHeck, so if you do not have cash on you , or your checkbook i guess you can t print your homework, that is plain STUPID. It is a catholic school so they force you to take a religion class and mine is from 9:30 to 12:30 so 4 hrs of boringness. but it counts as an elective so i guess i dont have a choice. Its hard to make new friends, everyone already know each other , and considering I m black , it is harder for me. But to be honest, i dont really care about the white people not talking to me, i didnt go the school to make friends, as long as the teacher dont treat me unfairly and i get the education that i came here to get they can KMBA..so read all comments from here and deceide if you want to go to SHU..its expensive, i m a commuter student and pay 30000..yep but Uconn is a better school and you pay less.
