Statistical Analyzer:

I transfered to Strayer because having my daughter would not allow for me to go on campus for classes and/or exams and they had a complete online program. Overall the classes I have taken were good, the professor were really nice, helpful and I got a lot out of the classes that I have taken thus far.

Things were fine until I had fallen ill then I really saw the other side of Strayer. My financial aid was in jeopardy and when I sought advice from an advisor I was given the wrong advice which threw me into a merry go round that it took months to get off of.

Bottomline the staff does not seemed to be to worried if students complete their degree, their main concern is receiving your money. They do not have the knowledge to advise some one during the process of obtaining their degree, nor do they take the time to advise.

It is very hard to get some one by phone and if you so happen to be lucky to get some one muchless a call back then you are lied to and sent from person to person to person. It is frustrating and to be quite honest the only reason why I have not transfered out to another school is because I only have 7 classes left to complete and I have put a lot of time and money into the completion of this degree.

I just wish Strayer had a caring, functional and knowlegable staff that actually stayed there as their turn over rate is quite high and my guess is that is due to them not meeting their quota since they are a for profit institution.

I have so contemplated filing a complaint against them however I have often felt as though that would not get me any where and I would be wasting even more of my precious time.

I just pray that it all ends rather soon.
