Um, man, what can be said about CNR? It was the first college I attended, and needless to say, I went into the Fine Arts department under the impression I could go into Graphic Design. I basically learned the hard way I was LIED to about this, and when I confronted the staff -AND- the Dean of the department (it was a pretty small department) they still lied to my face and tried to tell me that I could still go into it, and you can learn ALOT of things from Fine arts that you can use in Graphic Design (They hardly taught computers, nothing but maybe 2 courses in the entire BFA program, and really, they were the dumbest "intro to" courses, and they hardly taught anything about Fonts, mostly HOW to use the software - VERY stupid). They only had TWO computer courses throughout the entire school and I wasn't going to wait around for 2 years to finally learn Photoshop. I ended up leaving and bouncing around Westchester schools until I finally ended up in at an Art school in the city. Long story short, if you are in a lib art school with a VERY small program that is concentrated on what you want to do, chances are you are wasting your money and you might as well spend it on a REAL school. I know people will try to argue that you can get this kind of education anywhere, blah blah blah, but that's bullshit until you really look at what these schools have to OFFER in comparison to what so happens to be in your area. I mean, by no means is school suppose to be paradise, but if you are getting something out of your education, that's what counts in the end. I have a friend going there now who got kicked out of the BFA department and she had a 3.4 GPA! They simply told her they didn't like her work and they were demoting her to a BS. I tell her story because it can happen to anyone. She was in the same department as me, Fine arts. Total bullshit and not worth it.

Also, they have some of the rudest people in their Bursars and they get some REALLY dumb and trashy people on campus. My friend had this roommate from HELL who would constantly touch her shit and make rude and snide comments and me and my other friend once we left. There are some amazing ignorant and crazy people (not to mention teachers) as well. There was this one girl in my English class who always fall asleep in front of the teacher (WHO DOES THAT?) and she was this total bible nut and hated gay people ROFL and she would just bring it up randomly in conversation without warning too, off the bat, that she hates "the gays" wtf that means lol. Just be prepared to meet a lot of stuck up, self absorbed and REALLY WEIRD people.
