The Profs are the best attribute to the university. If you show self motivation and interest, they will offer many opportunites to gain experence outside of the classroom. Very easy to get around the campus (due to size.) Dorms are clean and friendly but MANY of the students are not looking at college as a means to the end….they view it as a big drinking/ smoking festival. There is no Greek, Student Government or community service from this crowd. Maybe it was their first time away from mom & dad b/c most of them slept near the toilet everynight. I've met some very involved and socially active students 2, but they aren't the norm. I'm in 4 clubs and 1 sport, so I have met quite a few students.I wish that the campus had more diversity. It seems as if most of the students are all from the same racial/soc-econ background. It is fine, but I would like to interact w/people who can show me a different view of the world.Well…that's all! |
