I am an out of state student at ASU. I am a freshman right now and will hopefully be transferring next year. ASU seemed nice at first but went downhill soon after arriving. First of all the people at ASU primarily consist of superficial, arrogant douche bags that only talk about drinking and working out. 99% of the kids at ASU believe that they are gods gift to women and man kind. There are very few kids here that actually are intelligent or have a sense of humor. The only activity students will do on weekends is drink. Any other activity for the most part will not be considered. If your not drinking your wasting your time. Why go see a movie on the weekend for \(8 when you could be spending that 8\) on alcohol? Everyone at ASU has a similar boring personality. You will talk to dozens and dozens of people and every single one is the same and has nothing worth while to say. Arizona state students guys are your typical frat "bro" that use the words like "sick", "tight", "hella", and "brah". While your typical ASU girl is a stuck-up blonde that thinks they are better than everyone else. The academics at ASU are terrible. I was by no means one of the smartest people at my high school but I feel like a genius at Arizona State University. Classes in high school were easily ten times more difficult than classes at ASU. Classes for the most part are so ridiculously easy that to not get a good grade you would have to just not turn in any work at all. You really don't even need to attend your class unless attendance is taken because everything they go over is just review from high school except the material is dumbed down for your typical ASU student. I have literally learned nothing so far that I have been here. |
