I received research grants from the art department and got involved in many activities organized by Philps museum. Some of my friends are in pre-med. We study together sometimes and I witness how willing they are to help each other with homework/experiments. I've seen many transfers who come from other schools and told me how amazed they were by F&M. The only one student I know who transferred out of F&M is one who wants to be a professional artist (and thus does not want to study any course by visual art)—she went to a nearby art school. Faculty accessibility and friendness—even no need to talk as we rank NO.1 in this area. It extends to alum, who come back yearly with their networking and recruit regularly on campus. I work at Career Services and have receive many alums who hold high positions in prestigious firms. One last word. It's the student him/herself who makes a difference and that's the characteristic of Fummer—take responsibility to embrace what you are passionate with, and F&M will provide the most resourceful and flexible environment for you to achieve that. |
