Alot of these past posts I have read are truly wrong.

First off the school is not over priced at $7,000 a semester, which is double of a cuny school and about the same as a SUNY school. Note that both SUNY and CUNY schools are over crowded. I went to QCC and then to Queens college which had 150 students in a psychology class, the classes here average 15 students. Note that the numbers are skewed because of night classes which are mostly continuing education who need pre req's for GRad school. I have had a class with seven students before and to me thats a priority. Maybe its my major (health science,DPT) but all the professors are very understanding and helpful not to mention have multiple PHD's in their fields. The students here are mostly commuters so why would there be such activity on a campus not to mention that there are 4 campuses. I admit alot of the students here are just looking for a "C" and a degree but thats every school. There are alot of intelegent students in the science department who will show every one in these posts a thing or two. TO enter the DPT program last year the lowest GPA was 3.7 in a class of 22 if that is a sign what "westchester" students are capable of Im moving up there tomorrow. Also, why does every one need to talk to the other students. Its not a popularity contest. we go to school to learn and get a job not to to have a social life. The argument of the financial aid is not a Mercy problem its every schools problem. THis is my third school the second in which i will earn a degree and every school has a policy and gets backed up with financial aid and billing. RELAX!!!!!! Some one wrote they didnt get there check early enough. why do you need a check to go to school and get an education? Finaly, to the people who wrote that Mercy's credits are not worth anything you are rediculous. Mercy did not accept credits from my earlier schools. In every school there is a description by what people go by for credit transfer, if the description doesnt match you dont get the credit. I had a proffesor that taught the same exact class at colombia. So how do those credits not add up to anything in your opinion. If you dont like a school because no body pays attention to you dont come on message boards crying. Transfer and let it be.
