I wouldn't call myself a typical individual from the north east, so my opinion might be jaded. But a lot of the kids here are little bitches, handed everything their whole lives and just sit around at starbucks dicking around on their lap tops. I transferred here after taking some time off from school, and it's really disappointing. Not at all how the school describes in its advertisements. However I have a hustle plan for my degree, so I'm not too concerned. Honestly though, if you're just starting your schooling off and don't have a concrete plan, don't come here. You will leave only more jaded. On the other hand, if you have a plan in mind, put your nose to the grind and get it done, DC is the powerhouse, you'll get the internship you want as long as you don't try to get it through the school.
