Apparently, the school needs to drastically increase its enrollment if it wants to stay open. So, as a current student at AMC, I watch my $35,000 being spent on attracting more students (and in turn, their $35,000). As far as I've seen, Anna Maria has not put any effort into increasing activities or resources for its current students. The dorms, library, and dining area are all in desperate need of upgrade. If asked, I guarantee every 3 (possibly 4) out of 5 students at AMC wish they would've picked a different school. The professors and most of the classes are terrific, but the bad drastically outweighs the good at Anna Maria. Five years from now, this might be a great school, but not now. Administration is more concerned with improving the school's image rather than improving the school itself. |
