The worst engineering faculty I have ever met. My grades were low at first until you learn the trade of the game. Teaching staff are not friendly. They are friendly at first because you get impression you are paying for your education so they have to be nice to you sometimes. Once you are in the academic game you get the idea the only ones that get the teaching are the international students who studied engineering and prefer solving the problems their way. Some of the new teaching staff can pretend to act cool but eventually you will learn they are doing things just to save their job. By the time you graduate most of the things you learnt aint going to matter when submitting your job applications. Avoid Silver, Pappano and Reinish. I aint surprised if one of them are curious to know why students are nice to them since if the professor likes you or you act do nice things you get a pass grade. You probably havent learnt anything so transfer out and dont be tempted by that big financial aid they offer. im transferring soon and i heard nasty things about the computer science faculty. allegedly among students some of the professors got kicked out of their jobs and ended here. Avoid Operating Systems, Math Foundations, and Database. I should have gone to Rutgers instead. Plus the social party scene is quiet and nothing happens. |
