Statistical Analyzer:

Colby College is a very "Comfortable" place to be. I had gone to a prep-school just outside of Boston and loved what I had found there, and wanted to find something similar, because it had worked so well for me in the past. However over the past 3 years I have matured, and in many ways, outgrown the college.

At high school, I took the honors/AP course track, and found my peers to be very bright and interesting. Every now and again, I would just be blown away. This has not happened at all at Colby. All of the interesting students went to Universities. My friends who went to other liberal arts schools (Bates, Dartmouth, Bowdoin and others at Colby) have had similar experiences. The academics are not the issue, it is the students (Academics are fantastic by the way, the professors are wonderful)

While Colby made sense for me when I left high school, it no longer does. I would make sure that when you apply to Colby or any other school, you make sure that the school leaves room for you to grow
