CUNY Lehman is excellent for those who work and wish to earn college credentials (in fact, I recommend it). For the price, you're getting a decent education. Indeed, most professors are knowledgeable in their subjects and are willing to help you with your studies. However, the school's administrators are downright mean and condescending. I remember being sent to a particular office and after politely asking if I was at the right place, this lady yelled at me - 'Can't you read? This isn't where you're supposed to be. Now get out.' In all honesty, I was tempted to go Chuck Norris on her. I wish I could say that she was the only rotten apple, but she isn't - not by a long shot.So I just transferred, but then again, I'm a guitar playing, Jimi Hendrix-worshipping, creative writer/ eighteen year old trying to find myself. Lehman wasn't for me, and it isn't going to be for you if you're looking for that 'college experience'. Look into other CUNY or SUNY schools. |
