Almost all of the students come from the surrounding town so it is like a continuation of high school for them; most of the kids i have come in contact with are incredibly immature; they are rich kids just now discovering freedom and drugs and so they over-do it and make themselves dreadful to be around. The majority are extremely small-minded people. I challenge you to strike up a philosophical or political conversation with any of these kids and you will be disappointed. In some of my classes it appears as if the teachers "dumb-down" the work because of the incompetence of most of the students. I would compare this school to a christian camp. This school stifles anyone who is seeking personal growth or seeking to increase their knowledge. The food is horrible, despite what they advertise, and they have hardly any options. So, if you don't want to gain weight while you're here or if you want to eat healthy, you're shit outta luck. Also, they do not offer many classes and when you end up trying to transfer out, most classes do not transfer or you could not get the core classes required for another school and now have more workload in the future. I suggest anyone who doesn't want a small-town, camp-like atmosphere to look elsewhere. |
