My faculty was great within my program (Geography) and I definitely got a quality education. i'd say 80% of my part-time professors were double teaching at both SFSU and UC Berkeley. So, I tell folks that I got a UC Berkeley education at an SFSU price. As far as the other departments go, they were alright. I was really disappointed that the swim program was cut in half. The sports there are minimal, and swimming is such an easy thing to keep up, doesn't take a ton of space. The volunteer program (CIC) was awesome, fantastic. The other student life was pretty lacking. It's mostly a commuter campus, so expect to have friends outside of school, for sure. but the campus is gorgeous, good food on campus, a great library. Overall a really good experience. I would totally do it again. |
