Statistical Analyzer:

Assumption College is a lot less than what I expected. It never was my first choice but they offered me a hefty scholarship so I decided to attend. The campus is nice and rather pretty, but maintenence is lacking. Internet goes out quite frequently and there is no wireless in the dorms. Social life is really dull and campus police are out of control and extremely strict. Religion classes that are required should be somewhat easy, but are quite difficult and the professors are very unfair. Especially to those who Catholisicm is not their main religion. Assumption College claims to be open-minded but it portrays a very close-minded type of prive/snooty school. It really shouldnt be as snooty especially seen as dorms are old and distasteful. This college is also very small so if your not looking for a high school type of school I advise you not to attend. There is also an extreme lack of transportation especially for freshman. All they offer are buses on friday and saturday nights to the mall. If you want to go anywhere during the day or weeknights you must take a cab which are EXTREMLY expensive even for the working adult no matter a college student who has no money. At night they offer safe cab which is four dollars but don't let this fool you because you still have to take a cab out to where you're going and then you can take the four dollar safe ride home. Also the sports teams at Assumption are terrible including the football team, track, cross country, field hockey ect. The gym is way too small for the amount of people who attend as well as the cafeteria. The food is terrible for the amount of money you pay for a food plan and there's only one other place on campus to eat which is Charlies and you only get 100 pts per semester to eat there. All in all, Assumption is just an overpriced college for what it offers.
