69.249.100.21:valid::anthem ins, in cherry hill is like a high school, it is terrible. and i love that this site is here i hope more people write and comment on there schools, cause its bullshit that we pay all this money for an education we care about but we have teachers that are not really quailified to teach. the teachers are retarded. they do what they want shit on the students and oh well we suppose to just eat there shit. i was treatened by a gun since being in that school, the staff did not protect the students. its ghetto and should it be they let people wit criminal records start. i take the massage class and the teacher mediates three times a week no massage mediation. so out of the 10 hours a week we have class in class to do massage and practice for our trade they spend laying on tables sleeping "calling it mediation." come on, thats time i spend 12000 to learn not sleep.we shoud be doing massage for those 10 hours, not mediation its not on the schudule or however they run those classes. if i wannted to do mediaition or yogo i would join the gym and waist my time like that for 35 dollars not 12grand. they couldn't t challage my brain. but then i remember these people arent even really quailifed to teach, they never learned how to teach, and she teaches because she couldnt find more then 8 clients in a week, now we have a terrible teacher to teach us what they havent even mastered. spend your money wisely, send your child or yourself to a real school where there really quailified and went to school to learn how to actually teach.in a real school like a univ where u can get real bang for your buck. i learned more in two weeks at my real estate school.

I attended anthem college-high tech institute from July 06 to Feb 08. The first few months weren't too bad even though they changed my student adviser like 3 times. After that I got a full time job that was extremely time consuming and my grades started to slip, once I quit my job, my grades went up. According to Matthew Ketcham, I guess he's the Student Services Adviser, I was on academic probation from Oct 07.

Well the last student adviser I had she informed me that I WOULD be placed on academic probation if I failed the current class I was taking. I emailed Mr. Ketcham back about they can terminate my education because I was fed up with the school. I never received any emails, phone calls, or letters saying I was on academic probation and all the student advisers I had, they never informed me. I'm sure it was in my student handbook, but I moved from California to Indiana and the last thing on my mind was making sure I had the handbook..I mean it's ridiculous!

I asked what would happen to the remaining money that I borrowed from Sallie Mae and if it was possible for them to send that money back to Sallie Mae or send it to me so I can send it to Sallie Mae myself. I also asked about sending the books I had that were in perfect condition, and guess what?! The guy NEVER emailed me back!!!! I was very upset after not hearing anything for a week so I called the financial aid services and the girl I spoke to told me that they weren't going to send the remaining money back to Sallie Mae or me, and when I asked what was going to happen to it she goes,

Oh, we're going to keep it.

So I left several messages to different Financial Aid managers with no responses. I even recently called them back after giving up for 4 months and I still have not got a return call. I've already contacted an attorney about this and I even talked to Sallie Mae, since I have fallen on a hardship and they informed me that no school is supposed to keep any remaining money if a student is no longer taking courses. So I have an appt tomorrow with a lawyer on what to do with this situation. I WOULD NOT recommend this school to anyone at all! They are all liars, frauds, and only want to take your money! The courses are ridiculous and they did not help with getting a degree in Medical Billing/Coding. I was signed up with at least 10 classes to take and only 3 of them had anything to do with Medical Billing/Coding. The rest were about psychology, sociology and creative writing which have nothing to do with my choice of degree.

If anyone has been ripped off by this company, I would love to get a statement from you so I can let my attorney know and maybe we can find some justice against this awful place they like to call a school.
