Foundation year was okay but now that I'm in my major, I feel like I learned nothing from it. In my chosen major, It's almost like you have to do exactly what one specific professor wants you to do, or you won't pass your classes. I thought art was about expressing yourself. There are a few good teachers that are truly there to help you [Jeremy Waak, Scott McMahon, William Mammarella]. But a lot of the professors are just jerks that don't adequately teach you their knowledge [Chris Welch, Anna Norton,]. Also, I recommend getting your liberal arts classes out of the way before going here. The liberal arts department is atrocious. Bad things aside, the other students are very friendly, and the activities that we have after school are getting better. The city is an awesome place to live, and they give you free food a few times a year. |
