Students in my class wanted an easy degree and did not want to use their major as their profession. Twenty-two out of 25 dropped out of one program. Students talked constantly in class and the teachers and administration did nothing to keep order in the class, even after my constant pleading for order. The faculty had some fear that they would lose students if they asked them to pay attention and not distract others. The distractions in class were overwhelming, and I learned nothing. They blamed me for the problem, saying I was too sensitive, that I was, in TM-talk, "unstressing" (a TM way of saying you are emotionally disturbed). They told me my job as an adult was to close my eyes and not mind the distractions, in other words, my job was to baby-sit—for $30,000 per year. The programs for education did not live up to their promises. A student was murdered by another student due to faculty negligence and two lawsuits are now pending for that murder. Finally, they retaliated against my filed complaints by giving negative comments to potential employers—a flagrant violation of the law. Any retaliation to a student for official complaints is illegal, but they did it anyway. The university was founded by Maharishi to be a great school, but the faculty and administration have failed to live up to Maharishi's standards. I stayed in the school because I was promised an advanced program, but upon graduation, it was dissolved. It was the worst time of my life. This is not a school; it is a day-care center.
