There were a couple of professors that had been there for years and years and had nothing fresh to teach. The program used to be very advanced in computing and GIS, but it has fallen behind and I often see portfolios of recent graduates that feel very dated. The program has a focus on regional planning and community development. If you are interested in urban design, design theory, or garden design I think you will be disappointed in the program.Moscow is a great small town, but SMALL. WSU is only 8 miles away which means there are many opportunities for lectures and concerts. Class sizes are pretty small and faculty are readily accessible. |
