Statistical Analyzer:

I'm from out of state and went to Bentley for my freshman year. I was a freshman so I thought everything was great being in college and all, but the glamor and novelty wore off about after a month. I'm happier at a much larger and different school now and here are my main points about Bentley:

Student Body

Most of the kids are from MA, NY, NJ, and CT. It feels like high school all over again except in a worse way. Cars on campus range from BMWs on up so that's the socio economic situation of most of the student body. Cliques tend to form very quickly. There are some international students but even then they clique to themselves. Generally, most Bentley students aren't very motivated and haven't experience any sense of the real world.

Social Life

Same old parties in the same small dorm apartments get old really quick. It's really bad if you're a guy because of the 60/40 guy/girl ratio so girls are put on the pedestal. Beyond that the sports are actually pretty good and the school encourages students to go with free tickets and giveaways, basically if you go to events you'll probably never need to buy tshirts ever again.

Academics

For paying 40k+ a year, I expected it to be a whole lot harder. Classes are small, all taught by professors that speak English well, but overall most of them did not motivate me in the least bit. However, the accounting program is perceived to be top notch, whether it actually is or otherwise. This translate to Bentley's career fairs being chocked full of accounting firms.

Campus

Beautiful campus. Very well kept. Lots of re gardening all the time. Also fairly safe with Bentley cops patrolling all the time and emergency phones throughout. It's really funny how Bentley cops really actually don't punish that much people for doing drunk things.

Conclusion

If you're not white, semi-rich, or from the area, look for somewhere else to spend your money.
