Although some students are close-minded, one will find these types at any school throughout the country, and it is easy to find chill people here. Many of my friends are interested in the arts, and also from the neighboring Bellarmine University there are even more different types of people. I have found many people whose company I enjoy. Kentucky is typically seen as a racist, white trash, backwards sort of place, but being from here I know this is not true. There are many different types of people here, not just the stereotypical hick. We wear shoes. My friends and I are not racist!! Once again, Louisville as a city has much to offer for all varying interests. From the Highlands, to St. Matthews, to Downtown, there are too many attractions to list. My favorite place to hang out is Bardstown Road, which is a street lined with many interesting shops and restaurants unique to the city. If one gets to know the actual city of Louisville, he or she will find that it is quite and interesting, open-minded, and welcoming place with many eccentric little quirks. I am very happy to go to school here and live in this wonderful, incomparable place. |
