I went to the Pittsburgh Triangle Tech campus. I was enrolled in the Maintenance Electricity program. This school is a scam plain and simple. They exist to take a bunch of your money, barely teach you anything, and spit you out the door so that they can hustle in the next group of suckers. They put more effort into lining up our money than they do into teaching us. I don't know how this place manages to keep its accreditation.

They let anybody in here. I was in class with convicted felons, kids with Attention Deficit Disorder, and plain idiots. Some of my fellow students could barely tie their own shoes.

Our average day consisted mostly of the instructor baby-sitting the more immature members of our class. I slept, read magazines, and never did anything. The tests were so easy that I did not have to study once. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA. It was a total sham.

The school loves to advertise about its "job placement" service. They declare that the vast majority of students have jobs in the months after graduation. They don't say what kind of jobs. I was offered total shit jobs that a retard could do. I politely declined. I refused to contribute in any way to this school's advertising material. They stole $25,000 of my money and wasted 16 months of my time.

I am now trying to get into the IBEW union apprenticeship program. If you want to get into the trades then try for the local apprenticeship programs. DO NOT GO TO A TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
