There isn't anything to do outside of campus unless you have car and can drive to the highway where you'll find stores and restaurants, but campus life is generally pretty fun. I just wish they planned more activities and events and spent less time trying to sell the school. The dorms for freshman are not good. They're hot, dirty and the bathrooms are gross. Expect lots of noise and creaking doors, unless you live in the Honors housing which is pretty nice. No air-conditioning and old buildings with poor ventilation = nasty! Food here also sucks, so stock up your dorm frig. The campus is absolutely gorgeous, no doubt about it, in any season. My classes have been good and I've been challenged sufficiently so far. Small class sizes are great and teachers are mostly wonderful. You really get to know your classmates here. Making friends is easy but it does get cliquey here since it's a smaller school. Most students are very nice and fun. There's a decent amount of clubs to join and some good Greek Life. |
